I joined a camera club DPI-SIG here in Naples. It is a very diverse group. Everyone is so knowledgeable about photography and eager to share with "newbies" like me. One of the perks of membership is being able to participate once a month in a photo shoot at Still Motion Studio. This space is jaw dropping fantastic. I have never seen studio space like it before.
I set up my camera in manual mode and happily clicked away for hours.
"Columbine" texture courtesy of Nancy Claeys. Several fancy brushes added too.
Someone went out of her way to help me the other day. I wanted to show my appreciation by making her a gift.
A number of years ago, I made a series of small quilts which were framed and hung in my living room. These pieces have since been replaced by other framed art, but I kept the quilts just in case...now I'm very glad I did.
Cut up quilt to 3x3, add beads and charm, adhere to canvas frame.
Place on an easel and voila - it turned out just right!
