All's Well that Ends Well

Back from our whirlwind trip to Chicago.  It was a lot of fun.

I'm so proud of my daughter, Jennifer.  She home schools her two girls.  Emily is off to college this fall.

Emily, our beautiful granddaughter, the graduate!

We enjoyed an evening cruise down the Chicago River sponsored by the Chicago Architecture Foundation.  Jane, our docent, did a terrific job!  We dodged most of the rain drops - the clouds made for some very dramatic skies.  I wish I could remember the names of all the buildings...  I'm sure you will agree - Chicago has a magnificent skyline.

After while crop-o-dile...

My granddaughter, Emily, is graduating from high school.  We're super excited to be going back to Chicago for the festivities!  (All photos taken with my Apple Watch.)

As is my custom, I made a travel journal to keep track of all we do and people we see...
The journal is made from a 7x7 child's book from the Dollar Store - sanded, painted with acrylic paints; image transfer, etc.

Cover shows Trump Tower where we will stay while downtown - fantastic location - beautiful hotel

Crop-o-dile hole punch

heavy yarn for ties

retreat...

I could keep adding/subtracting to this little work.  Instead, I'm calling it done.
